Tweedsmuir is delighted to be at the forefront of the Ecomuseum movement, with our own digital repository of local heritage, created and maintained in the community.

The Ecomuseum was launched at an interactive event in the Village Hall just before Christmas. It is the most democratic of museums – anybody who has a resource to share and record for posterity can simply upload it themselves.

If you are interested in researching people, places, history or events, it is easy to search the Ecomuseum and see what records it holds.
