Movie Nights in Tweedsmuir presents:

Thelma

An action movie like no other! In this hilarious and heartfelt film, June Squibb, in her first leading role at 94, stars as a feisty grandmother who is scammed out of $10,000 buy a phone fraudster pretending to be her grandson.

Refusing to be a victim and determined to reclaim what’s hers, Thelma embarks on a dangerous and comically treacherous quest across Los Angeles on her motorised scooter. Inspired by Tom Cruise and aided by her old friend Ben (Richard Roundtree in his final role) she proves that age is just a number.
